Save BIG with Kickstarter
Updates from Garage.
It’s been a wild couple years for a team of builders like us.
Everyone feels it. The squeeze. The shifting priorities. The attempt to claim healthy, wealthy, and wise habits at a time when maybe attention is diverted to focus on others.
Software and hardware have seen massive shifts in 2026. We’ve learned some transformational lessons at a time when learning is hard-earned with globally fluctuating variables.
Companion.
The roots of the word are Latin: com (with) and panis (bread). A companion is someone you share bread with. I’m from ’90s. Bread means money.
So when I think of the Companion Core Computer, I don’t picture an AI avatar or another chatbot. I picture a hardware appliance that works. Something that earns its place, pulls its weight, and helps you make bread.
Own your intelligence when you turn your computer into a personal companion (device) that remembers your data and understands you in context.
Companion Memory keeps what you import and capture, and your agents can recall it on demand.
Connect it to a local agent like OpenClaw or Hermes.
The agent also gets Hub’s tools, and can work with MCP servers from the Hub app store.
The Hub for Your AI Activity
Taking the headache out of hosting!
No seat limits. No surveillance. You control the keys.
Save time with easy
Special SKUs only available on Kickstarter now! Get a Core 64 with 1 or 2 TB of storage. My favorite, the Core 128 with 2 TB, or the new 192 with 2TB.
Or, bring your own hardware - the server-on-a-stick option is 50% the price we will list it for in the store here for a limited time and it offers everything you need to launch Companion Hub with local models already downloaded and a 2 year Pro subscription for free.
Free accounts of Hub offer everything users need to get going and reach three apps remotely. Pro increases the number of installed apps you can reach remotely without extra effort on your side.
Everyone who pledges will recieve an invite to a private Backers Discord channel. There, we will share prompt recipes, skills, tutorials, and host conversations.
We hope you’ll join us on this journey. It’s going to be a wonderful adventure.
