We built this project to give people reliable access to critical knowledge, without depending on the internet. The JIC system runs locally on your own hardware and includes speech-to-text and text-to-speech, so you can search, learn, and act hands-free in real time.
Powered by the Just-In-Case agent that references a curated library of open-source survival guides, health references, engineering resources from the offline knowledge bases, it turns scattered information into clear, actionable steps.
Data You Need When It Matters
What would you do if there was a fire in your home, an extended power outage, or a regional disaster like a tornado, tsunami, or wildfire? Do you have a plan, emergency supplies, and access to local services? Most people rely on the internet for answers—but in a crisis, that access can disappear instantly.
JIC Dataset
The JIC dataset is an offline digital library designed to work without internet or cell service. It includes curated, actionable information like survival guides, medical references, agricultural knowledge, engineering resources, offline Wikipedia, and open-source textbooks—all organized and searchable directly on your system.
Just In Case Agent
We provide an AI that helps you build and maintain a plan over time. It can guide you in your language and at your level, quiz you on essentials, and help ensure resources are in place—so you can protect your family and community with confidence, not panic.
