Data You Need When 'SHTF'
What would you do if there was a fire in your home? Or an extended power outage? What is your families plan for region-specific threats such as tornadoes, tsunamis, or forest fires? Do you have any emergency fallback food supplies if there is an earthquake or if you have to shelter-in-place? Where are local emergency services?
What would happen if you didn't have access to the Internet or cell service during a crisis?
The JIC dataset is an offline digital library that can be used without the Internet.
It is curated and organized on disk, with search tools and an AI interface. The focus is on 'actionable information'. We collected open-source survival guides, medical references, agricultural know-how and engineering resources, as well as broader materials like offline Wikipedia and open-source textbooks.

We also provide an AI to help you build and stick to a plan. It can talk to you in your language, at your level of interest, to make awareness more entertaining. It can quiz you on the basics, and help make sure that resources are in place on an ongoing basis to help protect your loved ones and your community.
